Skele-toile

I don’t know what I’m going to make with this yet, but I just had to share this cool print I found downtown while I was fabric shopping for my Halloween costume!

This print is Midnight Pastoral by Alexander Henry Fabrics. One of my favorite types of print is toile, and I love skulls and accents that are just a bit different so this is right up my alley.

101 Update: #40 – Get a Cat

Meet Isis, our cat and #40 on my 101 list.

For years the boy and I have had the same conversation over and over, that went something like this:

“We should get a cat.”
“Yeah, we totally should!”

We would then proceed to put it off with all kinds of excuses like: “we have to organize and cat-proof the apartment first”, “we don’t have time now”, or “we’re going to be out of town soon”.

Then one day, this kitten showed up.
